Installed my Truck Lites today, best mod so far

I love how these lites look as if they came from the factory, very OEM with amazing light output.

Post a picture with out the lights on. Are they truly as dark (without the lights on) as they appear?

After looking at your pics, I'm presuming the grill must be removed if new headlights are installed? If so, how difficult was it to take off the grill?

they are readily available for $400 at various vendors and I have seen them under that thru a motorcycle parts vendor (eastern performance). Yes you need to remove the grill and it takes a whooping 5 minutes if you take your time. No tools needed. it is held in place via some clips at the bottom and the pushpin rivets on top of the grill.

So far this is the best 500 spent, well worth it.

sure is nice to be able to see the roadway at night isn't it. I agree after having them I can not imagine going to back to stock headlights. I have to drive a lot at night coming and going to work so money well spent.

Still trying to decide between these and the JW's. The Truck Lites do save a few hundred though.

That would be extreme for sure but I'm sure I will be happy with either. I know JW Speaker is realeasing a direct fog lamp replacement in June (model 6145) so something else to consider.
