Installed New Flat Fenders and BFG Tires

I finally got my Bushwacker fenders on, along with a new set of 35X12.5 R17 BFG M/T KM2's!
Love the new look of the JFK but I really love the change in performance and the feel of these tires!
They must be close to 15 lbs per tire lighter than the Nitto Terra Grapplers I had on there and they were smaller in size! (305/70).
You can feel the loss of rolling weight over bumps and under acceleration. They are also so much better off road. If they are louder than the Nitto's on the street, it is not by much.
The fenders were not really hard to install just took time. I followed the tips of kbwwolf in this post...http://www.wranglerforum.com/f33/bus...ll-214133.html.
I have wanted these fenders since I first saw them on Kramer2K's build.
I am sure I have more than enough room now for some rock climbing.

Looks great! This is the exact setup i'm aiming for, 35" BFG KM2's, 17" rim, and flat flares. Once I clicked on this thread, I was excited to see someone with my exact setup idea, and its nice to see it in pictures. Quick question for you, or if you would rather have me PM you, do these tires measure more towards 34"? And are they lighter than most 35" tires? And how tall of a lift? I like the fact that these tires measure a little smaller, because I was afraid to go with full blown 35"s.

You Jeep is just plain sexy.

I just installed my trektop, I think you'll be happy with yours. It was about 70 today and I still had to run the heater to be able to streach the top enough. Waiting for spring is probably a good idea!

The 35X12.5 R17 BFG KM2 comes in at 34.8.
I think there is only one 35 that is a true 35 and that is some or all of the MT tires.
These BFG's are light compared to what I had and by some accounts here, one of the lighter ones all around.
My lift is adjustable (see link in post #11) but it is setting a little over 2.5 right now. In your PM you were concerned about having to do a lot of changes if you went to 35's other than the lift itself. But I really only need to add a set of JK Light Racing Series Caster/Pinion Angle Bolts. Those allow for more caster because of the lift. I did not need to change out drive shafts or really anything else.
I hope this helps

There is a learning curve on the first fender so dont rush. I started on the fronts. Once you get the first one done the rest are really not hard at all. There are a lot of steps so it takes time but really not technically hard. Check out the thread below.
