installing a new radio

i took the radio out of my truck when i sold it and now i want to put it in my jeep. for those of you who may know, it is an Alpine iva-w200, which is a double din 6 inch dvd touch screen thing. i was just wondering how difficult it is to take the stock radio out? not sure where to begin with taking the dash apart, but i havent really looked into it yet...any help is appreciated, thanks!!

Pry up the front edge (toward the windshield) of the top cover and slide it toward the rear, the plastic is soft so use something small, I used one of screwdriver blade on a mini Swiss pocket knife. It starts to become obvious after that.

Once you get the top of the dash off it's pretty simple to start unscrewing the dash. I have taken mine in and out a dozen times changing components in and out. Just make sure you get the correct wiring harness.
