Installing power locks and windows

Hello all, I am Billyzack from Arizona. I just bought a 2011 Wrangler Unlimited without power locks and power windows. I would like to have remote power locks at least on my front doors and have power windows. I'm sure some of you have had this done or done yourself. Any help would be appreciated about do it yourself kits or good shops here in Phoenix metro. Thanks in advance, Billy

I have had remote locks and remote start installed but never power windows. Most car audio stores offer remote lock/start packages for around $250 to $350 depending on if they have to install the box for security keys. Did it on my last truck. Cost me $300 because of the motor they had to put in the doors for the locks.

I would think that power windows will be a bit more challenge. Might try the dealer to see what they say or try to get a salvage yard to do a search for a wrecked jeep that already has power windows.

I have the same issue. My local stereo shop, they do a lot of work at the dealerships, told me they really don't want to do it, and if they do, it will be somewhere around $1,000.00. It was suggested that I find the lock and window mechanics at a junk yard, and they could install them for much cheaper. I'll live with the reach to unlock the back doors....
