Internal Storage

I was looking for some internal storage and run across the G.E.A.R/Smittybilt gear.

I was wondering if anyone had any negative or positive feedback about it, especially the tailgate storage and firstaid bag.

Or, do you have any other or better suggestions?

I've got the Tailgate bag. Great Place for storage, but can't hold things that are super heavy. I keep water bottles, some emergency food, recovery straps and a few other goodies in mine. I added a first aid bag (pre-made) and another bag for anything extra. I can post a pic later tonight.

Get some "Task Force" mobile box's from LOWES and some RAINGLER nets and you can store everything-

Overhead and on the deck in the storage area-

I've got the tailgate set as well. I also can't store anything really heavy in the bags either, especially since I have the Q-tec cargo liner. The big bag keeps moving the cargo liner forward and everyday I have to reposition it, but that's a minor thing and despite that, I really like it. I'd like to get the overhead console one day.

Anyone with heated seats try the GEAR seat covers?

I was initially hoping these covered the backs only but I noticed it covers the fronts as well. I was mainly looking for a cover to protect the back of my seats from my german shepherd.

Wink

I got a couple medium sized surplus knap sacks that lash to the rear roll bar and sit out of the way up on the rear of the wheel well.

I've also got a dandy repurposed from a previous camper truck, wooden storage box with a locking lid, about 12x12x42" or so (fits just right behind upfolded rear seat) that mostly keep my extra gear from flopping around too much.....

although I'm saving up to get more stuff so I can install it like JIMBOX!!!! If I can figure out what that up-on-the-roof gear is.

Since mine is a JK I'll have to make some kind of decision on what to leave home though....
