Is it okay to leave out the door torx screws when putting the doors back on?

Hi all,

I'm currently running doorless but I'm wondering if it's okay to leave the torx screws out when I do put the doors back on? Thanks!

Yes, many do. Just remember if later you decide to put them in to clean the threads out

Never put my door screws back in either, on my last jeep that was mainly because I "misplaced" them

I have a JKU. Only once have I taken off all 4 doors, but I take off my front doors almost daily. I leave them out on the front and have them in on the back doors.

I may toss them back on this winter, but for now they're in storage.

If they want to steal my doors bad enough, they have to break into the Jeep and unlock it. If they're that intent on targeting me, I'm hoping they have the extra weight of a socket and torx bit with them anyways.

Yuuup. If they're taking doors they should at least have a socket with them.
