Is MyGig 730N(RER) 100% "plug and pray" with Sport S stock radio?

I'm finalizing my 2013 Sport S order and fully intend to add in dash NAV after delivery. (why it's not a factory option is beyond me).

Is adding the 730N (RER) really and truly 100% plug and play. I've read conflicting info suggesting the dealer may have to program in a new radio code. Is that true?

I don't want the connectivity group or infinity sound. However are those two options needed to add a 730N unit later?

I'm thinking I should add Sirius to the order just so I don't have to wire in a separate GPS antenna. I read Sirius and GPS share the antenna connections?

What are the differences between RER and RHR units? Are all RHR units high speed bus?

Are there any other considerations that I'm missing?

Thanks

I have a 2011 JK two door and I replaced the RES factory radio with an RHR MyGig unit from oemautopartsco. It was totally plug and play. The factory Sirius antenna already had GPS capabilities so no additional antenna was needed. I paid an extra fee and they unlocked the unit so navigation functions could be made while moving and the DVD player will work while in motion if your passenger wants to watch a movie. The hardest part of the job is just getting the dash panel removed. I am very happy with the upgrade and it fits the dash opening perfectly. I am not sure if the RER is an exact relacement. Check the oemautopartsco website for a compatability guide.
