I sent him a message through his website about 2 weeks ago and have not received a reply yet. I was inquiring into some custom work. Is he still doing decals? Thanks.

^good to know. My payment through paypal still says pending on his end. I'm not in any kind of hurry though.

I ordered on the 24th and my payment just went through this week. received shipping notice yesterday. I just figured it was a one man show and he was backed up. I must be too used to ordering odd things from small operations because this seemed normal to me.

I just got some stuff from him last week. It took about three weeks. I was told that once you place an order, that's when it gets printed and that's why it takes a few weeks. I guess he doesn't keep inventory on hand, which is fine with me, he does good work.

Well I had to replace mine....

Because I got a new Rubicon ;P but yes, his work is fantastic. Didn't even think twice to go someplace else.

I am thinking of doing a custom hood decal and getting it from pixeldecals, but worried about installing it. Anyone know how hard it is to do it right? I am in Indiana and have never done this before.

They're really, really easy to install. Obviously the bigger the decal, the more time it'll take to install. I could sit here and type out all the steps but I think If you go to YouTube you can find hundreds, If not thousands of videos that will show you how to put on decals.

When you do this, see if you can find a video where someone used a wet method of applying the decals. It works well for the larger ones.

Good luck and post pics when you're done!

You know I'm sure he's a great guy with a good product, but I'm a little ticked about my order. If something comes up where you're not going to be able to provide your product for a couple weeks, then you should probably mention that somewhere on the order page to make sure that's ok. I got stuck in the "pending payment" status for a couple weeks too. I sent the same design to Vinyl Disorder after assuming I'd been scammed and had it in hand before the Pixeldecals order has even shipped! A week ago I sent a message to Pixeldecals asking for my order to be cancelled. Never got a reply, but that "pending payment" status quickly changed to a charge going through. By the way, Vinyl Disorder's quote was about 50% of what Pixeldecals was, and the quality is as good as any decal I've seen. I should have and will be using them in the future instead.

I'm going on a month since I placed my order. I'm going to send an email and see what's up. I'm sure there is a reasonable explanation. He seems to have a pretty good reputation.

I agree with the ranting jeepers on this one and a change in business practices is in order. I see tons of posts here where the American flag is a mod, yet it took almost 3 weeks to get mine. At 10 bucks and based on popularity alone I would have expected the turnaround to be a couple if days.

I ordered from the "popular" links section on the website. Anything in that category should have a reserved stash with only a few days between order and shipping.

I ordered "Wrangler" fender decals from pixeldecals, and it took about three weeks. I probably will look elsewhere in the future, a three week wait for fender decals is a bit much.

I have to agree with above. Took several weeks to get my bezel stickers. (Really, how hard is it to run a few extra since these are all the same?) I understand he had an emergency and the delay in receipt wasn't a big deal at all. But aside from a "payment has been received" email I did not hear ANYTHING from the vendor for 3 weeks. I had to call him (and email him) to confirm he was even working on it. I don't care what the widget is- I still expect a little customer service.
I have seen many decent reviews for him so I'd still consider another shot. Maybe.

It took a good 3 weeks to get my flags. I does however say on his website that it takes 7-15 business days for processing and then say 3-4 days shipping. He also explains that he doesn't take the money until he starts processing your order, probably why the order has been in payment pending.

I agree its a bit too long to wait for a decal but I only started getting impatient after about 2 weeks....and I'm a pretty impatient person.

Took the money for my visor decals on the 27th, still haven't seen them. Hopefully will get them soon.

I just sent him an email regarding some custom work and some items listed on his website. My previous email went unanswered altogether...we'll see if or how long it takes to get a response this time and what he's going to charge vs. how long it will take to receive them...waiting...

Going back, it does clearly state 10-14 days. Of course, I'm still a while past that. Thing is, I sent an email with an image of what I wanted to the competitor I mentioned earlier. The next day I had a quote for a third of the price of Pixeldecals. Within 5 days the decal was on my Jeep and looking great. Y'all can keep waiting for this guy, but I know if I ever want something made again I know who I'm going to.
