Is the 2013JK Sport lifted/stock

I tried searching on here but couldn't find anything on it. Does the 2013 Jk come with a stock lift or is there something I'm missing?

I've notice my friends Jeeps sit considerably lower than mine, and they all have upgraded tires/rims. My Jeep is a 2013 Jk Sport stock with nothing really done to it except the upgraded engine package.

Funny, I parked my 2013 JKU next to an older JKU the other day and noticed the same thing. After I left it dawned on me that it may have been a 2wd version, but I didn't get a chance to confirm.

How old are your friends' Jeeps? Could just be sagging springs/shocks.

It seems to me that 'lift' (or lower, not that many here do it) is relative to the ride height of stock, so by definition "stock" can't be lifted. It could easily be higher or lower in body lines than another trim level or another year.

I'm curious what "upgraded engine package" means in Canada - is that code for "I've got the diesel that none of you poor saps in the US can get?"

They're not lifted when stock. As mentioned, the springs will settle a bit.

Also could have the stiffer springs if you got the max tow package. Search for 'springs' there's a bunch of threads on here that explain how to check your spring rates (last 2 number on the tag).

I noticed the same thing when I got my '12. I was asked a few times if it had a lift...

Here in the 51st state we get the same models you do, we just pay more for them.

Depends on the package. Assuming Chrysler still offers different suspension options.

I opted for the heavy duty springs and shocks when I ordered mine in 07 and it sat an inch higher then the standard JK's.

Waste of money, I lifted it 3" within a month and threw the springs and shocks away.

The sagging shocks, and earlier Jeep models make sense. I was just curious why mine sat so much higher than theirs......I'm not complaining though

That makes sense. By upgraded engine package, I meant the Pentastar....my dealership sold it to me as an "upgrade".

I guess dealerships up north will screw you over just as fast as the ones in the states.....

Every 2012. 2013, and 2014 JK that has ever rolled off the assembly line in Toledo has the 3.6 in it.
