Angry Is the affiliates program optional?

I sent out emails to a few dealers in the area. Told them I was entitled to the Chrysler affiliates program via Tread Lightly but wanted to do better than that. I outlined EXACTLY what I wanted and gave them a first choice of color and a second.
What I am looking at is
Unlimited
24S package
Auto
3.73 Gear Ratio
Side Step
Connectivity Group
Hard top
One dealer wrote back and said he had everything but the 3.73 but didnít provide a price and said I couldnít use the discount if he has to order one.
The other dealer writes back with what looks like a made up invoice, quotes me a price of 32300 FWP (I assume this is the Invoice price?) and then says they will take $200 off of itÖIf FWP is the invoice price arenít they required to at least take $323 off? Is this something I could complain to Chrysler about (and actually get anywhere with)?
My wife said I should write back and ask for 2% off but I told her I would probably just make an a$$ of myself if I had to negotiate to just get them to honor the affiliates program.

LOL-it only gets worse, the second dealership sent me another email while I was typing up the post. "Priced to Move but must act today by 7:00". $32,645! So the price goes up?!? She is still giving me $200 off. She included the PDF of the "invoice" and she worte on there"Today only! and put an X and a line for me to sign on." At this point if I went in there would be SWAT teams, news vans, crying children....I think I'll try another dealership

You should be getting the 1% off the invoice price weather it's off the lot or ordered. I got it with my order. You can check truecar or a few other sites for invoice pricing.

I do not know if they're required to take it, but nobody should ever pay more than 1 percent under invoice......ever.

Find some other dealers, they're everywhere. Use the affiliates program as ammo.

Don't worry. It's April 14th. It'll really be priced to move April 28th. They will give you that price any time you're willing to pay. As said before you shouldn't even consider paying more than 1% under

Using the progam is optional.

However, if a dealer honors the progam for one vehicle, they must honor it for all eligible vehicles. They cannot tell you that they will only honor it if you buy off the lot. The Affiliate pricing program has a customer service phone number, I strongly encourage you to call it. They are VERY good at setting a dealer straight.

Also, no naming dealers please.

It amazes me what some people pay on vehicles. It amazes me even more how dealers will take advantage. My dealer knew I was buying. I shopped 3 dealers and then took my best deal to the local dealer. I ended up ordering one and got it at close to employee pricing. I even got an additional $500 when I received a dodge golden ticket in the mail the day after I signed. I did three things, I let them know I had my own financing and was pre-approved, I let them know I was willing to sign on the deal on the spot and I let them know i was shopping dealers.

Your mileage may vary.

I actually made my deal WITHOUT telling them about the Affiliates Pricing. Then when I went in to sign, I produced my control number and said to my salesman...Let's punch this in to the system together. We did and I saw the price with my own two eyes. Then I produced my $500 golden ticket.
This really helped me negotiate my trade in value as well. I know that I got the maximum amount for my trade because the dealership thought that they were getting more out of me on the price of the Jeep.
FYI...the Affiliates Pricing is something that the dealerships can opt out of participating with.

I ordered mine and didn't say anything about TL at the time I ordered. The POC sheet I got to confirm the order had both MSRP and Invoice price listed. When it came in, I gave them my control/confirmation number for the Affiliates Program, and it was a done deal, no questions asked.

The dealer who said he couldn't use the Chrysler Affiliates discount because the vehicle is a factory order is being dishonest. I ordered my vehicle on 04/03 and my dealership honored the pricing. He told me to make sure I bring in my certificate on the day I pickup the vehicle.

The Affiliate program states invoice less 1% of invoice plus a $75 document fee paid to Chrysler for running the program.
I sent you a PM earlier, we do invoice less 2% on in stock or an order. Makes no difference to us.

Pat, I'm sending your guy an email and making the drive in that case. Only thing I am worried about is my trade but maybe I can show him the car in video chat or something. Thanks!

I just did a deal with a Fields CJD, and it was the best experience I've ever had at a Dealer. Pat will take care of you.

i had my affilate number but never showed it to my dealer and i ended up geting 6% under invoice and then i told him i had the number. so they actually came out better than they were planning on my deal. salesman told me afterward outside the lot that i was smart in doing it that way because they would have gave me the 1% under and nothing more if i had started with that. so much of dealing is how you present your options on the table and when. first thing i did was get a trade allowence and then price on new, shopped cpl dealers found the best then droppped the affiliate number

Couple of more questions....One dealer should a different invoice price on one item. The 24S package. He is quoting 2314 instead of 2492. Did it go down?

Also, what is this "processing fee" that some dealers toss in? It makes the 1% discount null in many cases.
