More than I paid for my Rubicon - well, before taxes a fees. Went out the door at 33,5. Auto A/C, Leather/Heated Seats, 3-pc Hard Top, Connectivity Group. I spent 90 bucks and bought the Q-Tec trailer hitch and connector myself.

"Deals" seem rather volatile on Jeeps anywhere in the country.

The likelihood you can find a better price for the exact same specs is high.

The best deal you can find also will come the day after you finalize whatever you finally do settle on.

If you want those high end electronic doodads that's about the MSRP of them.

Shop around and get real familiar with what does constitute a real deal for what you're after. The better you get at knowing the market, the better your wallet will feel.

X2

I'm going through a trade on my '12 jk because I didn't do my due research the first time around. It served a great purpose being that it was our third vehicle, but we downsized to two vehicles and I'm looking to get into a JKU.

No, you're not getting screwed. Is it the best deal? No, but rarely in life will you be the best at anything. Being realistic is the to key to being happy. If you really want the JKU, and its the perfect one to your liking, don't run from that deal just because other people aren't impressed. If its not exactly the JKU you want, then look for a better deal because you'll probably find your dream JKU along the way.

Looks like you're near San Diego. I can recommend Carl Burger Jeep. I ordered a 2014 for 2% below invoice and it was painless. Check the 2014 or 2013 info threads for invoice pricing of all options, and see how the price compares to invoice.

Yep no reason at all you cant get 2% below invoice. If thats the one you really want call that dealer and tell them you will do 2% below invoice or you will buy from another dealer offering you that .

I look at 2% under invoice as a minimum. I just bought one (actually 2) for 5% under, each. Remember that with a AR of 1%, the dealer gets back 2%. That, coupled with the end of month bonus, makes these a 4-5% discount under invoice.

If the price that you paid works for you, great. This is about what you can live with vs. what the dealer is willing to do to get a sale.

You're not getting boned at that price, but others have said you might do better.

Ask yourself if it's everything you want, color and options. If it is, go for it and don't look back.

Lots of people will buy any crap off the lot for an extra 1%. Don't fall into that trap. Make sure you get what you want so that you aren't starting threads about painting hardtops and fenders, or switching radios, etc.

If you're settling, keep looking or consider ordering.

Edit; No new Wranglers are crap. They are all amazingly good vehicles. Even the barest bones Sport will amaze you at what it'll do off road. Just don't settle is all. If you buy something you don't want, just because it's a good deal it wont be long before you wish you'd bought something else.

And when you're shopping, make sure you understand and read all the fine print. The prices listed online at this dealership INCLUDES discounts and rebates that you have to be qualified to receive. At this particular dealer, you must be military and have an existing leased vehicle or you can add another $1,500 to the stated price.

All vehicles discounts include applicable factory rebates available to this model and $500 Military rebate(valid id) and $1000 Lease Loyalty rebate or Competitive lease rebate(must be currently leasing) Factory rebate is in lieu of special Apr's that may apply. Offers, incentives, discounts, or financing are subject to expiration and other restrictions. See dealer for qualifications and complete details. Excludes leases due to less lease cash available.

Also note:
Since it only lists "Trailer Tow Group" and not "Max Trailer Tow Group", I bet it has 3.21 gears and not the 3.73's you'll wish you had on this JKU.
It also lists the towing capacity in the "Spec" tab as being 2000lbs., so it is a good bet they are 3.21 gears.

BE AWARE thats the INTERNET sales price that probably includes all incentives.... when you contact them about that price they'll tell you something in the lines of " do you apply for ALL the incentives? "

all the incentives are usually
military
conquest
college
and a few others

also don't forget that want whatever price their asking plus tax, tag, and title.
