On my 12 sport jku I have a 2.5 aev lift with geometry brackets. I have the pintler rims with 315 duratracs. I also purchased the aev rear bumper with tire carrier. Recently I made a thread trying to detect a noise coming from the back of the jeep. It seems to only happen at slow speeds and only over small bumps or curves. I did a lot of research on the boards and I think I can say it is not any of the following common problems.
It's not the heat shields, rear tail gate, or doors. My friend came over today and stood outside and listened while I backed in and out the slight incline driveway. He seems to be quite certain that it is the back right shock. He stated because I do not have the front aftermarket bumper that the balance of the jeep may be off. He seems to think due to the design of the aev rear bumper and tire carrier that a lot of the weight is over that back right tire and that shock is working harder than the others. Does this seem plausible to you guys? I left a message with the shop that did my install and one day next week hopefully they can listen and solve this mystery for me
it's not a huge loud noise but it is audible and I'd like to figure it out and resolve it. Thanks guys.
