Is this possible

I'm looking at buying a brand new sport the only thing I want to add is A/C 3.73 gears and the half doors I want to put 10,000 down when I go to buy think I could get then down to 20,000 so I only have to finance 10,000

No.

Invoice is around 24-25. 20000 would be about 20% below invoice. Not happening.

24000 would be a good deal on that jeep.

The best you can do is with a discount like costco (if you are a member). I believe ours was $500 below invoice using our costco discount. A few places offer these and you might be able to haggle a couple hundred more but I doubt anymore that $1000 more from the discount.

I was able to get my custom ordered 2014 Freedom Edition for 5% below invoice, here in Texas. When we ordered Mike's 2013 in Florida, we were able to get 2.5% below invoice.

You can check out post #1 in the 2015 waiting room thread for some tips on how I was able to get those prices.

I know lots of people think 5% under invoice is like saying you've seen a unicorn, but that's honestly the deal I got. There is a dealer in Houston that does 5% below invoice every day.

check for chrysler "affiliate" discounts, i work at a hospital and i had no idea that DMC employees get 1 percent off, aside from all the dealer promotions they were running...the salesperson i was dealing with saw my work badge and gave me the extra discount. doesn't hurt to check.

I'm going with the sport because that's all I can afford and that's all I want I'd rather have the base model so I can do whatever I want

When I bought my 2012 I had the same options except the half doors. I paid $19,600 out the door. I bought it in October of 2012 so that might have something to do with it.

I know what you're saying - I got a 2014 Unlimited Sport - manual everything. The only extras it had on it was A/C, trailer hitch and a hard top. But, I got some good incentives ($1000) because I had a lease (with GM) that I was turning in so I would up paying $24,600 before I put any money down, out the door price. I did everything via e-mail and it took me a few tries to get the right person who knew how to properly deal with someone online.

I ran the numbers on KBB and it came out to something ridiculous like 9% below invoice. I'm sure they made money on me somewhere, but whatever it was, it wasn't much. I signed the papers and got out the door in under an hour.

Getting them down to 20K would be a Moses-level miracle, but more power to you if you can.

Again, I will add how much of a discount you can get, really depends on your local market. If all the dealers in your unique area have no problem selling their entire allocation of Wranglers, why would they give anyone a great discount?

That's true jeeps are selling fast and good around here I might have an advantage though most people are only buying 4 doors instead of 2 door

What dealer would you recommend in Houston?

What makes it even more difficult is that you want a big discount on a near bare bones Jeep. Most of the margin comes from the options so they can negotiate more a a high price tag unit like a special edition or high end Sahara. The Rubi's sell themselves so most dealers will not discount them heavily.

Last year 4 dealers around here had Moabs for $6-7K off from a $41-43K sticker price. That type of discount is very rare but even that doesn't add up to 20%.

I bought my 2014 Unlimited Sport manual windows and locks, auto transmission, A/C, trailer tow, and hardtop for $26,700. I didn't have any incentives, but the dealership did because it snowed on/off for a couple of weeks this last March. Which is unusual for Oklahoma. So they hadn't sold many. Took me a few days but they finally came down on price to put a sell on the numbers board.
