My commute is 82 miles round trip. I occationaly switch rides with my wife (8 mile rt)to keep the mileage down. Just traded in my 08 jku with 84,000 miles. Driving home topless n door less helps keep me sane.

I've had mine for 2.5 years and posted 15,600 miles on it, wish I could use it more, but smiled during every mile

35 miles round trip, 95k on the odometer. My 07 JKU is my DD and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I prefer the truck as a DD, as I get 17-18 MPG's

The JK is around 12 MPG

What does the 5 year old want? The JK, can't blame him, even though the Truck is on 35's!!

I am kind of a drive one car guy. I plan on driving my new JKU everyday, 52 mile round trip.

Really its a terrible choice for that long of a commute, but I don't drink coffee, so that saves me more than getting a economy car. Once in a while I may take out the 1988 mustang, as it was my fun car when I got sick of my real car, but I can see the love for it is fading fast, and I will probably only drive the JKU now.

After 51 years, cancer and the different outlook it gives you, I say to heck with practicality most times now. smile

Besides, if I didn't drive it, my wife would be piling the miles on it!

I put about 30 miles round trip on mine every day. Plus sometimes I just go buy crap so I have a reason to drive it. I always take the long way back from lunch to work.
