HEY - new guy here...still waiting on my Wrangler - not fun ha ha. Anyone have the Isee-Systems LED military style tail lights? Just wondering how they are - if they work well and if installation is easy. The only place that sells them is Isee online store and I'm not familiar with the company and am leary of paying $550 for a product with no reviews. But no one else makes one that looks quite that good in my opinion. Anyone have feedback?

Thanks!

I haven't read anything on them to justify that cost for the Isee. Of course, those who own them say they're the best thing since sliced bread (cognitive dissonance maybe?).

JW Speakers are very nice, but also very pricey. For my money, I'm looking at the Truck-Lites, Peterson, and Q-Tech headlights (all pretty similar LED design).

Good Morning,
Quadratec said that they never did stock them. They're just in the catalog. The company is in Maryland and does DOD work from what the website says.
Has anyone here dealt with them? I can't believe that I'm trying to justify that much for lights.......

I got my Truck-Lites for $125. Happened to check around different forums and internet searches to see if anyone was selling a used set. Installed them on my TJ! The only other thing you need is to change out the flasher or they will blink 100mph. Kick ass!

It amazes me that the JK is in its 9th year of production and there still isn't a "perfect" LED tail-light. Most of the options are either low-quality eBay grade stuff or absurdly expensive. I'm still holding out till a better option comes along.

I want to like the ORO option, but the warranty is pretty weak and it does not clearly state DOT certification.

I'll sell you mine for $200. I still have the instructions!
They look good, really bright.

Hey guys, something to keep in mind when you're looking at taillights. If you're going to go to an aftermarket tire carrier some require the smaller style taillights. My poison spider tire carrier would not work with the stock taillights of my TJ. And it's the same with the JK. Just something to keep in mind so you don't end up having to buy two different sets of taillights. The ORO's listed above are very good! I removed my stock lights cut the wiring pigtail off and soldered the lights to the corresponding wires and then just plug been played

Hello,
Sorry, I forgot all about this thread.

When I received the tail lights, I went out to my Jeep to install them. I recall removing one of the stock lights and observed that the quantity of electrical sockets wasn't the same. If the Jeep had one electrical pig tail the ISEE lights had two.....

I didn't know which one to connect and I really didn't want to connect something without having a clear idea of what it would do, so I either called or e mailed the company in Maryland. I remember being told that they would look into the issue and contact me once they had a solution...

A few days went by. No answer. I contacted them again. No solution so I sent the tail lights back. I really didn't want to experiment with something that should have been an easy install, especially considering how much they were.

That's how it went.
