Hey everyone I've had my trektop pro on for around 6 weeks now and I have leaks right at the a pillar every time I get it washed. My concern is that I have my accessory switches on the a pillar and water pours in. I reached out to bestop with pictures and got a very generic answer. He is a screen shot of my original email with their reply and a couple of pictures of what I'm talking about. I followed the installation video exactly and the foam is in the exact spots they said to put it. I can't figure it out and it's pretty frustrating because other than that I love the top. Anyone else with this top have a similar issue? If so what were your fixes?
I get leaks at the same spot, it's the only leak I have and only does it when there is heavy rain and the jeep is sitting.... Doesn't usually happen when driving. I haven't put much thought into it yet, it did it with my hardtop and so I just thought maybe the door seal needs replaced. I don't think my leak is caused by the top but I would like to see what others say
If you got this leaking with your hardtop I would suggest replacing your door seal. These seals tend to wear out over time. If you still have the leak please feel free to contact me and we can get this fixed for you. *CassieAtBestop
Did you get these leaks with the top you had prior to the Trektop Pro? I have the same top and my ARB switched on the pillar with no leaks. Unfortunately, you got a generic answer because the foam pads is usually where we start troubleshooting with leaks. If you have a chance i would suggest calling and they can trouble shoot via phone which goes a bit faster. Feel free to email me directly as well and we can get this leak figured out. *CassieAtBestop

My jeep was leak free when I had my hard top. The leaks only popped up once my TrekTop pro was on. Thank you for the reply and I will try and reach out by phone.
I've had my Trektop NX for about 7 months now. I have the same leak when it rains heavy and the Jeep sits stationary. It has to rain pretty good to get it.
I also own a full service car wash with a conveyor driven tunnel. When I send the Jeep through, I have a Jeep button which turns off the upper pressure washers and dryer but the rinse arch still drops enough water to leak a bit on both driver and passenger sides. .

My foam and top looks just like yours.
It's weird because when I go through the wash I don't notice any water coming in. It's when it hits the section that drys the car off that water pours in.
Thanks for posting this. I'm going to give it a try once I have my right hand back. I've got a shattered wrist after acting like a kid and playing on a skate board......
Hello All! I've had my Trektop Pro since March and haven't noticed any leaks. My main complaint is about excessive wind noise on the highway. Has anyone else had this problem??
About a year ago, I picked up a second hand Trektop NX for my JKU. The first time I took it on the interstate, I thought a tornado was inside the Jeep. After researching the issue I found it common for the screws in the header to come loose or the plastic to break. Sure enough, upon taking it apart that was my issue. I learned my lesson from buying second hand used tops.
I ended up ordering a brand new Trektop from Extreme Terrain and have had no noise issues from the header. It's noisier than the hard top, but nowhere near the first used top.
I would contact Bestop and have them replace it under warranty if it's less than a year old. From my experience, they have excellent customer service.
i have the trektop nx and have been having a lot of water come in that spot. yesterday i adjusted the tension spring to the tightest and noticed its a tighter fit. had a pretty good rain and nothing came in but it wasn't a massive downpour. im hoping this fixes it!
ok, had a massive heavy rain yesterday and my roof leaked big time. adjust the tension did NOT help. bestop is sending a new roof.. i hope this works as im getting tired of cleaning up a puddle of water!
Come on bestop! Make it right! I am so close to pulling the trigger in getting one of these but all these posts are scaring me !!!
