This may have happened to you.

I went in to the shop to have an Artec Dana 30 Truss and a set of ARB Diff Covers installed and the build just exploded from there. They pulled off the stock diff covers to find that all my teeth in the spider gears were chipped both front and rear. FANTASTIC! New set of 4.56 gears and an Auburn Limited Slip to replace the worn factory limited coming right up. New ball joints since I was going to replace my worn 35's with some 37's in the fall but I might as well do them right now. Mr. Brown Santa said "Here are the Super Swamper M-16's you wanted. You're welcome." Well you know that the factory tire carrier isn't going to handle the weight of the 37's so I "had" to buy a new rear bumper. Say hello to my little friend....the Expedition One Core Series Rear Bumper. Well the 37's might rub on my stock fenders so I needed to replace these as well. Solution - ARIES metal fenders! And then I thought to my self; I said "self, (that's me) you're going to go to more difficult places now so you should make sure you can get out if you become stuck." That's a good point too. Mr. Brown stopped by yesterday to deliver my ComeUp Seal Gen2 9.5 RSI Winch yesterday. It's crazy that three parts that were no more than 500.00 bucks morphed into over 8 grand. I hope to have all of this on by the 17th.

These finally got to the shop. Front fenders and rear bumpers will be the Wednesday and will have everything on by Thursday. Went with:
ComeUp Seal Gen2 9.5 RSI for the winch
Aries metal fenders
Adams 1350 drive shafts
G2 4.56 gears
Auburn limited slip rear
Expedition One Core Series rear bumper
37x13.50 M16
Will take pictures on Thursday when complete.
Results of chipped spider gears? 12,800.00

Interesting. You're setup is the closest I've read mirroring mine when it comes to a one-time money dump, I got all the same things except went with Eaton lockers instead of LSD:
Aries Aluminum Flares Front/Rear
Adams 1350 Drive Shafts
Nitro 4.56 Gears
Eaton Lockers
ExpOne Core Series Rear Bumper with Smooth Tire Carrier.

But I haven't decided on a winch yet. Did you do any research before choosing the ComeUp Seal Gen2 9.5 RSI? I've not heard of that one until now, but doing a quick search I like the look of it.

My wife would have squashed that kind of spending in a New York minute, but I have been there when I added the lift and then picked up new wheels and 35's. It wasn't cheap, but it certainly wasn't over $8k.

Up your insurance coverage.

Already did. 27 a month more. Already had 12k in specific coverages increased but I think that's the smart thing to do. I have found that people do not respect other people's property the hard way.

Some A##hole loosened my lug nuts and as I was going around a curve the wheel came off and went into the intersection. Was lucky it only hit a trailer. A 40x15.50x22 going 35 would have killed a pedestrian.

They didn't just loosen, they were taking your wheels I'd say.

Farmers has always been good to me, $1000 aftermarket automatically no charge, willing to cover more
