I am kind of surprised I haven't noticed anyone mentioning the NEW J2 series From JW Speaker in here!

They have a countdown to June 1 on their site, and seem to be announcing a new series of lights for us Jeepers!

"The J2 Series of lights will give your Jeep a new, distinctive look. The visibility they provide makes them safer than stock, and the plug & play installation means your Jeep can have a whole new attitude in a manner of minutes."

Any of you guys holding out to see what they are all about before pulling the trigger?

Anybody interested in a seriously gently used set of KC Gravity Pro's, their brand new Top of the line? You can look at my build thread to see how long I have had them.

Overpriced and moderate delivery. Thats my verdict on my taillights.
I'm sure this will see a price drop in their last series and some ridiculous price over $500 for headlights this series.

I'm very happy with my OEM 2017 headlights setup... thank you,

+ 1. I have been very happy with the LED stockers on the '17. Color, pattern, brightness are all just fine and they keep the traditional "look".

^ You must have the LED upgrade from Mopar, the basic stock lights are horrible.

Who the hell wants "distinctive" headlights? Very happy with the quality and light output of my J1's which blows 2016 on down lights out of the water.

I hope they're built better than the tail lights for those ridiculous prices.
My tail light housings were cracking in 4 months, and JW says tough shit, not warrantied.
Buy the Chinese stuff, at least when it takes a shit, you can afford to buy three sets :)

Yep!

Seems like opinions are strong here..

If you are not fortunate enough to have a 2017 with the LED MOPAR headlights, which is 99% of us in here, I would say that JWs have been the standard to which all LED replacements have been compared.

That being said , they aren't for everyone. I do know for certain that tail lights are not a part of the new J2 series as of yet. I also know that there is going to be a new offering in the reveal on Thursday, meaning , a product not previously offered by J.W.

You can see from the image that there are some slight aesthetic changes to the housing, but there is also a performance improvement in the design as well. These will exceed the performance of the current "Evo J".

There's no way those photos from northridge4x4 are the new JWS J2's... All this talk and all they are changing is a red letter option or carbon fiber backing... and ask for $350 more dollars... since the JWS Evo 8700 J1's are going for half the original price
I could be wrong, guess we will see in about 9hrs 40m

So much hostility for JWS. I had no idea. Easily the best mod to my rig...got the first gens for a good deal.

These new ones seem to be touting the dual high beam function where the low beam and high beam stay on when on high beam. Before, it was only the high beam. Nice functional improvement.

The new J2 should make for a price adjustment on the J's, though when the J was released the older version of the light didn't drop dramatically (and remaining stock went for more in some cases, catering to the "non-halo" crowd).

I like the idea of dual burn. I wish my J1's had that. I may upgrade when the price comes down. Curious, outside of matching the look of the headlights, if the new fogs would be an upgrade. Front turn signals have my interest. Built in load equalizer. Wonder what the cost will be on the turns.

These new headlights were no surprise to me, when there started being great prices with $100 gift cards I kinda figured there was a revision on the horizon. I hope the regular 8700 Evolution model ( Non J spec series) get an upgrade too. I'm still not a fan of the half halo.

The new turn signals look great!

$800? I don't think so. I'm not into the bug face look. These and the knock offs are just as appealing as the angry eyes grills. I have the KC Gravity LEDs and love them. Extremely bright, 23 year warranty and look like headlights. $455 on amazon back in August. Also have a set of the KC Gravity fog LEDS. They are wonderful as well. About a month after installing them, rock hit one and broke the lense. There is a small piece bouncing around inside the light. It has been fully submerged, washed multiple times, full of mud and dirt and still works after a year of that. Not sure how many other manufacturer's lights can take that abuse and still work.

I have a set of the KC Gravity PRO, with the projector in the center. They're amazing. Look like lights also. less than a year old.

I wonder how you operate the dual fire lows and highs from the stock light switch stalk. Does it only work that way when you pull back and hold it?
