Has anyone ever installed jack nuts in the holes around the top edge of the tub? I don't have a hard top so I use these holes as attachment points for my homemade platform on top of the tub. I would like to install jack nuts so it is easier to remove and reinstall the platform. Trying to install nuts underneath is a real pain. Any other ideas are welcome too.
I have a dual top and the hard top has brackets that clip onto the tub, under the lip, that have nuts in them. They are probably not included if you purchased the soft top only.
I'm sure you can get a couple from your Jeep dealer, but I have no idea of the price.

You guys are hilarious! Here is a pic of an Actual jack nut. As you can see it is like an expanding wall anchor that is designed for larger threads and for use on sheet metal.
