Jeep 1 - Ice 0

Today was the first day to drive my Jeep in the ice, and she drove great! It was nice driving through the parts of the road where everyone else was stuck in the ditch like it was no problem. Here in Dallas we don't get very much snow and stuff, so for me this was pretty fun.

Way to go. Do you know why they have that big hole in the roof of the cowboys stadium? So god can watch his team play. Don't look like they will play on Sunday though!

Looks pretty fun. Jeep looks nice covered in ice. Gotta be careful on that slick stuff though. WE never get anything in Delaware other than rain so when It does snow Im all over it.

I'll tell you right now we got some real ice up here in the poconos right now and its supposed to get much worse over night. I took my employee home tonight and he lives on a really steep, and fun, hill and had 4 wheel's spinnig going up that tonight. ON real icy roads 4wd is just two more powered wheels with no traction.

I am glad everything went well but when the ice does score, you will forget about all the times it didn't.

Nice Wrangler and glad it worked well today.

I'm 20 miles west in Colleyville and the Wrangler I ordered is now at the dealer and waiting for us. Would have been great to try it on the ice today. The news shots from I35 with fifteen 18-wheelers scattered over the highway were fairly amazing.

Thinking about getting chains. We only get around two ice storms each year, but it might be worth the cost.

Once you get your Jeep you will love her. PM me one day and we can go get her dirty. Some of the guys from work and I were planning on a day on the trails real soon.

I must say this mornings ride to work was very slick and the JK did well. Went up some steep hills without much issue but did start to get scary at one point. We had about 1/2 inch of ice on top of snow from yesterday here and the roads are very poor and alot of people are stuck in there driveways from what I'm hearing. I typically dont need to go up hills but I drove someone in to work today and they are on a pretty steep incline. We were the only tire tracks that you could see up there and I feel bad for those people because I'm sure they'll be stuck up there most of the day.

Thanks, that would be great. We will probably have to wait until Friday or Saturday to get her with the weather.
