Jeep bumpers hardware

Do you need any special tools in order to install an aftermarket jeep wrangler metal front and rear bumpers?

I think it will depend on whose bumpers you go with, but it think most of them are just bolt on. There may be weld on bumpers, but I'm pretty sure they would make that fact clear in the advertising.

Front is 8 bolts and two electrical clips (fog lights). I put a JCR Stubby Pre-Runner on.....it was under a hour start to finish. Hardest part was finding the right combination of socket extension and swivel head to get to a couple of the stock bolts. Have not done the rear yet.

Some bumpers require you to relocate the vacuum pump and cut part of the pump bracket. Drill and saw of some sort may be required.
