Jeep collisions W/Front-Rear bumper stories

I want a good set of aftermarket bumpers and I would like to hear stories of survivability.

If you have been in a wreck, how did the front end do? Even stock bumper stories are welcome. Airbag stories would be cool too.

I haven't been in an accident but I will say I thank god I never was after taking off the stock bumpers! The rear bumper was nothing but a sheet of plastic that I carried to my shed with one hand.

No accidents, but I have the Mopar bumper, which seems to be pretty solid.

Knock on wood, no accidents, but I feel much better getting into one with my Rampage recovery bumper than I did with the OEM plastic fantastic.

No wreck per se but hit a full size white tail deer head on at 40 mph with my RR XHD steel bumper with hoop and wench and the only thing I had to do is clean off the blood and hair. Not a scratch on my jeep. Ripped the deer about in half but was amazed at how bad the deer looked and didn't do any damage.

Notice they use totally different vehicles for each test. Not too realistic and not too ethical IMO. If they really wanted to prove their point they would do exact runs with their bumper vs stock vs and aftermarket with no crush cans. Begs to ask why they didn't?

But it sells their product. They can't get their over pricing without this pitch and it works. It is sort of like the CAI's sales pitch for an $250-$500 intake. A lot of hype and little actual improvement but the hypes sales the CAI even though the intake is pretty much were the stock one is. Were's the cold air coming from?

It was a pretty good thump sound, knocked it forward and I ran back over it before I could stop.

So you are saying Scott Brady is lying? These weren't tests, they were real life accidents.
