Jeep deal done and thanks!

Well, thanks to you all, I was able to wheel and deal and know exactly what I wanted when I was doing so!
Landed me a BFG Sahara loaded with everything and some 3.73 gears .
I am out of the country until the 5th of April, but will fly in to the city I bought it from and drive her home at that time!

Now I have about 3 weeks to find and order mods haha.

Plan for mods so far:
-Small lift (2-3"), just have to figure which is the best to keep he driving good on the roads.
-Front bumper, have to figure out which I like the best
-Light bar for widshield, want 4 to 5 KC's up top
-Wheels and tires, going black and maybe a tad bigger on the tire. Have not decided which size wheels yet (16,17,18), I am still reading up on all of that.

Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for all the help!!

Paul

Congrats!! I recommend getting a bumper first, my poor jk was hit in the parking lot and no one left a note or anything. big dent in the flimsy plastic bumpers. next time someone hits me, I'll have steel. good luck on all your decisions! have fun. and PICS when you can.

I will be sure to have a new bumper sitting at my house when I get home .
I will have about a 500 mile drive when I pick it up to get to my house so I hope the plastic bumper will make it that far haha..

No worries about pics as I will sure post some! My wife and I will be taking her on her first road trip to the Tenn. mountains in June so I am very excited for that!

I was not this excited when I bought my Corvette!
What is it about this new Jeep? I don't know, but I am sure ready to find out!!!

We always rent a cabin outside of Gatlinburg. We try to go 2-3 times a year. We are planning a white water rafting trip this time as I have always wanted to do that but never have. Most of the time when I go there it is to hit Deals Gap.

Where are you in Egypt? I spent a year in Egypt, Gianaclis AB near Alexandria with frequent trips to Beni Suef, Cairo, and Ismailia over on the Suez.

I drove a Grand Cherokee while I was assigned there, had some good times in the desert West of the Alex-Cairo highway and out and around El Alamein. Alex has a beautiful Corniche.

You might hold off on the lift till after the bumper or a winch they will have a weight that you night have to compensate for. Congrats! Jeeps are meant to be Green!

Very good point. I am in no rush for a lift or wheel swap right now. I have to be very careful how I mod this one as most of my cars get modded to the point that my wife can not drive them anymore. I promised her I would keep this one drivable for her to go cruising around in if she wanted to without having to worry about it wondering all over the road, being to hard to park, beating her to death, or having to have a step ladder to get in lol. It will be HARD to do!!!!

Nahhh I keep ours so that anyone can use it. Shoot just under armor and basically stock and I just beat the hell out of it.

How about a CJ? I have one that I built years ago. 383 power and lots of fun. Not practial at all and if you get to 70mph on the interstate it gets a little scary lol. I will see if I have any pics with me on my hard drives later.

I mod everything, even my boat lol. The only thing I own that is all stock is my wife's G35 coupe. I have issues, which you will most likely see with this jeep as time goes by lol.

Heck, I even mod my bicycles lmao
