Jeep height with 33's and 2.5" lift?

If you have this setup, what is the height to the top of the bow? I have to get it into a parking garage and want to be sure I fit - I have a 2dr

Any help is cool

Just do the mods. If it doesn't fit, either park it outside or modify the doorway!

(sometimes the simplest solutions are often overlooked)

Or you could measure what you have now, figure the difference based on tire size / lift & then do the math again.

It'll be 4" (EDIT: 3") higher than it is now.

My old roommate lives in a condo - downtown Chicago. His place has a low height for the parking garage as well...has taken more than a few luggage racks off various SUVs...so I understand the concern. Just measure what you have now, then add 5-6" (EDIT: 4-5") to be safe.

Assuming he has 32" tires now, it will only be 3" taller.

I thought that too, but you will be amazed at what those 3" does to the looks. You would think that 3" was not enough to worry about but after you get it done go park your Jeep besides a Stock JKU. I was really pleasantly surprised how mine turned out

how do you like the ride.. I was considering a 2.5" lift and 33's
that is pretty much what you did, Can the dealer do what you did to keep from voiding any warranty? or would they just do a reg. mopar 2.5"lift

Good question by the OP. I am nervous about installing lifts/ bigger wheels because my entry to the garage is only 6' 6".

I have a 4dr with TF 2.5" lift and 33" tires. I use a parking garage that maxs out at 6'6" so I think you will be fine.

Can you please post a picture of your Jeep with these? I was thinking about getting a lift or a leveling kit with the Trail Grapplers in the same side.

I love the way it looks and it rides good. I wouldn't say it rides better over my rough gravel driveway. Not that it's bad but stiffer as it should be with stiffer springs. I do plan on better shock later. Yes the dealer will install them without doing a Mopar lift but if it was like my local dealer they wanted to charge me one hour a spring or $85 a spring. My local off road shop charged me $71 an hour and 2.5 hours for all four. They are stock springs so it doesn't matter who installs them and these will not effect warranty at all.

Of course the lift you get out of stiffer stock coil springs all depends on what springs you have now. I lost 3/4" after the winch and new bumper was installed with coil springs 13 on one side and 14 on other(weakest front coils on a wrangler). After new springs (19's) I got the 3/4" back plus 1 1/4". So the coil spring raised it 2" by itself in front. Added 1" Teraflex spacer to get another inch lift. But if you already have 18's up front the 19's will not help with lift. I had 56 coil spring on rear (54 is weakest) and put 60's on and only got 1 1/2" on back but would think if I had 54"s I probably would have got 2" on back too.
