Its been a while. Here are some updated pics. Getting closer. I have put some temporary wheels on, so I could get my new tires mounted. I also have the new 3rd brake light installed.

Sorry for the long delay. Here are some updated pics.

I am about 95% done. I just have some finishing details that I want to get buttoned up, and it will be ready to sell.

I am thinking somewhere in the $33K range, as I have seen some selling anywhere from $43K to $70K.

Also, on a side note, I have a 2nd JK8 kit that I planned on building, but have decided to just sell the kit. So, let me know if anyone is interested in that as well. They go for about $5000 new, and I will let it go for $4000.

Don't know if this has been mentioned already: If you like the JK8, you'd probably be interested in this concept Jeep, JK12

Jeep Mighty FC and J-12 Pickups Among Six Concepts Revealed for 2012 Moab Easter Safari [Photo Gallery]

There's a 2 page article on it in the latest JP Magazine with pics. Pretty awesome!

They use pieces of the JK8 kit, other pieces of the bed from a Dodge Ram, it's essentially a '12 Sahara. Retro front grill, gun rack. It has a full 6' bed!

Impressive work. Seems like a rather low price to me? What does everyone else think?

Did you keep track of the hours it took to get all done? It's a enormous effort. The conversion I did takes 8 hours at the most to install.
