Jeep logo fuel door from ebay A+

Just to let anyone who is interested know, I ordered one of those Jeep logo fuel doors from ebay. It was about $43 versus $130 at the stealership. I bought from the user:
Member id yuxin4x4partsworld .

Shipping took about 7 days and the fit and finish is excellent.

There is a mopar emblem on the neck inside and a jeep logo on the back of the cap as a trademark and has part #s stamped into it. Also the instructions say mopar on them. It even has 2 little rubber stoppers to keep the cap from having metal on metal when you shut it. Even if it isn't real, no one will be the wiser, def worth $43 to me.

The neck is plastic and the door and surround are metal.

I see screws in the ebay auction picture.. What are they for? This doesn't require drilling into the body does it? The real MOPAR ones don't require any drilling. Obviously this is a Chinese knockoff but if it works and looks the same. I'm in.

He's got a couple of different auctions for the black fuel doors, at different prices ($43 to $66). I don't immediately see the difference between them.

The neck part snaps into the the hole in the body panel. The door actual door and surround attach to that via 4 torx screws. The other screws are just ornamental (real screws but don't attach to anything). No drilling required and takes about 10 minutes to install. Here's a vid:

I can verify the fit and finish of this part, as I bought the same one. As for OEM, where do you think they make these parts? I will guarantee it came off the exact same assembly line as an "OEM" one. The instruction sheet was in fact "OEM". To answer the other

There are 4 screws that mount the ring and flap to the base. The other 4 are fixed in place already, exactly like the "OEM" one. There is no drilling required.

Are these "factory seconds" from the Chinese factory that makes them for Mopar/Jeep?

Check the feedback. There are a couple of negatives regarding the fuel door.

Bought this a few months back. Be careful because the aluminum screws snap very easy. Probably why they sent extra screws with mine. Very easy install and it's held up fine so far.

I wouldn't be surprised if this, in fact, is the company that Chrysler contracts to build these items and is just selling them on the back-end.

Great! I would really like to order one of these fuel doors, especially at this price. Looking at shipping details, says may not ship to Canada.
Sent seller a message asking if they will send to Canada. I will post sellers reply so fellow Canucks if interested in buying will know if they will ship to Canada.
