jeep logo not centered... on purpose?

So today i did the grill mod... which i like the way it turned out, but while taking a picture of it i noticed something....

The jeep logo on my grill is not centered. it is slightly shifted to the passenger side. Was this done on purpose by jeep or did i get a defect gril hahaha

its a 2010 jku

Dip it yourself and save, if you dont like it peal it off and line x, grill comes off in a second when you pop the tabs under the hood
And certified doesn't mean flawless, just approved could have even been their repair, I have done a lot of damage that was never reported

Your Jeep is....special? Ricky the noob just started a few days prior to production and was prolly texting his GF when he did your grill?

I kid I kid. That is kinda strange. It's centered over a slat instead of a slot.

yeah its "unique" its like he counted six grills instead of seven and rather than being over the center grill he centered it over the "center" spine

you mean plati-dip? and isnt that just like a rubberized spray paint? will that help with rock chips and such like bed lining would?

i got a quote a few months ago for some truck bumbers and it was only 150 for both front and rear bumpers if i brought them to the company un installed... im sure i could get that lineXed for under 50 bucks being the part would be so small

Wow....if your Jeep was a character from the Goonies, it'd be Sloth.

Agreed though...it was probably repaired by a lazy body shop tech after an accident of some sort.

Never seen one not centered. Definitely not from the factory this way.

The worst part is, you know someone applied the logo, stepped back, and said "yep, looks good." Then walked away satisfied.

yeah im gonna call and see how much it is... he said last time i called the do it based on square footage of material and prep time aka masking and such... but he said if i brought a part that was not installed and he just had to spray it it would be cheap... my only concern would be thinkness cause the clearance of the fog lights
