I call mine El Toro, as in the Bull. I am the second owner of the jeep and it lived in New Mexico until now. Plus it runs over anything in its way.

It is hard, until something sparks the mind to give it a name. Look at me, honestly, they're not names, they're titles. Of all the vehicles I had, I'd never named 'em, never had too. I used to drive an '87 Samurai that was lifted & modified in the mid 90's, my license plate read 'TIPOVER', and everyone from family, to neighbors, to other offroaders refered my SJ-413 as TIPOVER! And it stuck for years! Good luck on this decision!

Since its a woman's prerogative to change her mind, I've renamed my new (to me) 2006 TJ Sport "Gia", short for giallo, which is yellow in Italian. Much shorter than my original choice, and easier to pronounce. And she is definitely a girl...she's already having her diva moments!

Mine is named Oprah. Why? Because she's big, black and sexy, and weighs several thousand pounds! :-P

The beep.

I don't remember how it got named or why.

But for 20 years and 4 owners ( Me, my Dad, my Mom, and my sister--long story) it has been known as "the beep".

I am thinking about going with Grey Ghost because 1) she's incredibly quiet 2) she's got camo with the grey water, grey sky, and grey roads around here.

My TJs name is Jerimiah or Jerimaya (not sure if it's a he or she... maybe a tranny or hermie?)

Named because it's green, squat, and gets muddy... kinda looks like a bullfrog... and is a good friend of mine!

Though I'm more of a beer man instead of wine...

with the little kids around we call it "monster jeep", same as our 86' Chevy which is "monster van". The van sits up there a little with having 31 10.5's on it. (Jeeps got 33 12.5s)

For a three year old, its a monster! He just grew enough to be taller than the tires. The top of my tires are about eye level with him. Can't even imagine how cool a lifted jeep is from such a small perspective.

I changed mine's name to Gunther. It was also a sex-change, but hey WTF, I'm a woman and it's my prerogative to change my mind.
