Well, last night I was rear-ended by a kid driving a GMC pick up truck. My Rampage Recovery bumper with tire swing out did great. Only a slight bend on part of the tire swing out, but I will need a new bumper. The poor kids pick up truck's front end was demolished. The impact pushed my Jeep forward 15 ft.
Anyway, the Rampage Bumper did very well, but I was wondering since I have to get a new one, is there something else I should consider?
Unless you have to get a new bumper, use the money for something else. Also make sure you get checked out. The rampage bumper (front and rear) are beasts, so Im not sure you can get any stronger than that...so unless you want to change the look, stick with it.
I have one of those smittybilt beavertails and I pity the person that hits me from behind. I love to use the tail to stand on when I am working on top or packing up my soft top windows in the storage bag. The back side of the top is a great place to roll up soft top windows.
I'd give some serious consideration to jcroffroad. I'm running their bumpers, and I've put the. through some stuff. in fact I've talked about 4-5 in my club. into joining me running their stuff.

I don't have any JCR products on my rig, mainly because none of their stuff was available when I was parts shopping 2.5 years ago. Had all their stuff been available back then, they would be one of my frontrunners, I really like their stuff, and their forum presence is also excellent.
