Jeep Security

I have always been hesitant on getting a wrangle for that one reason of if someone wants in all they have to do is unsnap my roof/windows. Has anyone had any problemsd with security in their wranglers? I was thinking bout getting one of those sensor alarms that secures the whole thing even with the top/doors off. Opinions/comments appreciated

I've come to find out that there is no such thing as a secure vehicle. Alarms, clubs, guns, etc...just make you FEEL secure.

Actually since I've gotten the jeep my life has been made simpler by not hauling so much crap around with me. If it can't fit in the console, it's not staying in the jeep.

If you leave it in your Jeep expect it to be stolen. Same applies to anything bolted to the outside of it.

No I haven't but anything is possible. If they (the person stealing it) didn't care too much about what it looked like when they got it off - could remove just about anything in a matter of minutes. Bottom line - if they want it they'll take it.

Thanks for all the replies...good reads. nregas1m thanks for that link..lots of info. i usually carry my cds, ems jump kit, ems lights inside the front and rear windows plus some other junk in my car, If I pick up a Jeep, I will look into getting one of those secured trunk things. I have seen a bunch in the aftermarket. As for the lights...I have no idea.
