For those who dont know what it is.. heres a video on it

What kinda gear do you need to make this happen?

Lift, tires, rims, disconnects? Im planning on trying this or having a buddy try it with me.

I've often wondered how people pull that off.

I think I'd flip out if someone gassed it a little much and trashed my fender flare. lol

I'm pretty sure one guy just turns his tire out and the other crawls up slowly in 4-lo. Probably want to have flat fenders and some lifts involved though.

Whoa. Never done it that big. It's easy though. 4lo, locked, airdown a bit for the crawler. Bottom Jeep sticks their tire out. Flats is recommended.

You can do it on a telephone pole too. I'm told ;-)

no need to be locked. just 4LO and your sway bar disco'd... and like others have said, it doesn't hurt to be aired down a touch. you really have to go easy so you don't tear up the other guys rig... or yours for that matter.

Locked as using a locker if you have one. Most any lift will stack on a 33" tire, 35" may be pushing it for some. If you drive a non-Rubicon manual trans, it's going to be tough to keep it controlled.

I've stacked on plenty of 37s and a 40 or two with mine, but you'll need a bit of suspension travel to keep it on all fours.

I'm not too worried about someone damaging my fender though lol

its neat for non jeepers and new guys. i was at choccoloco mountain one time and some guys (drinking) thought they would all upstage each other and two ended up pulling up a guys tire then out on this stinger. one on each side. they didnt even think about how they were gonna get down. lets just say some stuff was broken

Should have clarified that statement as for a 2door, an Unlimited can get away with higher for the same given lift height.
