Jeep still in the shop...I'm going through withdrawl

I bought my JKU last week and negotiated to have the dealer fix a few things. Its bad enough they gave me a shitty little Dodge Caliber to drive, but the weather is finally nice enough to take the top off and its been a week! Treatment of a new Jeep owner should be illegal.

They have to fix the rear window on the hard top, repair a hole in the back seat and replace a couple of trim pieces...doesn't sound like much but you'd think by the way they are treating me that I'm costing the dealership $50k. They won't return my calls for an update either. Dealing with this service dept. is like having a tooth pulled.

One thing I have been thinking about for my upcoming gears and locker work. Guess I have to look into a rental.

Yeah, I can't wait to give them back this excuse for a car (Caliber). After playing phone tag with the dealership for 4 hours, they finally admitted they never had the parts in stock and they intended to let my Jeep sit in service until next week. That's a negative, so I'm about to go pick it up. I think I'll deal with another dealer from now on.

That sucks. I called yesterday to let them know that we where have the same problem again. They told me they where going to look up my info and call me right back. I called at 9 am and they never called me back. Bad idea. They will be replacing my soft top and adding the tinted windows or I want my money back. Good luck with lovely rental.

LOL, the loaner is gone. My daughter even hated that car! Good luck with the soft top...I think once the dealer gets your money, they will do anything not to give any of it back. Customer service just doesn't mean anything these days.

Oh, that's better at least. It's hard to find a dealer that will put in a good effort. I took a closer look at mine today and the few things they said they fixed in the 4 days they had it actually weren't fixed either. I'm going to unleash hell on Monday!
