I think it was a good trade just not for you. Its cool looking but not a very good vehicle.

I like them but would never own one.

Does yours only have 4 seats?

Heh Heh, it's probably one of the best 4wd vehicles in the world, but

You've gotta have a GOOD reason for owning one-

I don't know which one you're asking about the number of seats--my jeep has four, but they are horizontal and under load-

When I was trained on that thing, I was told, "If you can get it stuck, you can have it". That did not include the front or rear bumper stand....

I'll keep my jeep, thank you.

I was just in Moab with a group of h1s. Amazing machines and super expensive if it is an Alpha, they are going for $150k for a really nice one. Older ones can be had for $35k sometimes.

I had the displeasure of driving on that had come into the shop a few years ago. I don't care how good it does off road, the street manners and the POS GM diesel are deal killers for me.

The later models with the Duramax had power to spare and are amazingly quiet. Earlier models with non-turbo 6.2s were really dogs. It is a whole new experience driving a vehicle that wide and big overall.

I'd trade for it! I love the H1's, but I want a Soft top and the pickup bed style.

A Duramax wouldn't be too bad. I still wouldn't like having the exterior dimensions of a medium size cargo ship and the interior room of a midget's golf cart.

Mine is pretty hard to improve on and suits me AOK!

Yep they are a crazy vehicle and get the job done. But for our style of wheeling and lifestying the Wrangler is the best

I Like many different vehicles. The H1 Alpha is a great truck. I love my Jeep, I love my Land Rover, I love my F-250, and I have considered getting an H1. One can never have to many toys.

With all that disposable income, have you ever thought of sponsoring a less fortunate child?

(and by child, I mean me... )

The Jeep will give you far less trouble, unless you have deep pocks, than go for it, but that ride will cost you. I personaly would have stayed with the jeep as those H1's are high maintenance and break alot I have been on many trail runs where a Wrangler is the H1 recovery vehicle.
