Jeep windshield

This is my first wrangler. I drive a 2008 JKU. I swear my windshield attracts a ridiculous amount of bugs in the summer (which I can handle) and rocks all year long. I already have to replace my first windshield do to a truck passing by that kicked up a giant rock. However, I hear rocks And pebbles hitting it all the time. Is it a norm to go through windshields? Does anyone else experience a mass attraction of objects to their windshield?
