Jeeps don't float!

After being stuck in a water hole for 4 hours in my jeep was making a horrendous noise.

It squeaked and squealed as I drove it, there was no change with rpm so I think the engine is fine. It started on 1 front side and move to the other and then stopped altogether.

Well thank goodness you've got those headlight guards in place . . . .

Hope all is well.

That's what I hope it was pretty sandy in the water so I'm thinking a lot of sand in there. I change the differential fluid last week before we went out, haha probably should do it again.

Looks like either red Jeeps don't like water, or the Goodyear RSA Wranglers are made of concrete....

Thumbs down Ok!

Why is it that young-folks confuse Jeeps with a Submarine

Water at that depth, will have negative results Got DEEP-pockets ($$) keep on

Did you use your clutch while you were stuck?

That could be your issue. When you use the clutch under water, water and debris can get in. You may be looking at a new clutch depending on how bad it is. You should always use 4L and first gear when crossing deep water. That way if you stall you can start in first without the clutch.

That's pretty much the reason I avoid the Pines.

It was probably just your brakes then. WTH is going on in the second picture? Nevermind, I don't want to know.

Agreed, I do need to adjust my driving techniques a little but if I lived in colorado I'd be 4 wheeling in the mountains where I can break an axle or even roll it, so I can not go just because of a mechanical issue.

LMAO, It's a jeep thing you wouldn't understand. I was wondering how long it would take somebody to notice that.

Your driving style got a lot of remedial study in the four hours it took you to do whatever you were doing to your spare tire. Remember, the disclaimer says to call your doctor if it lasts more than four hours.

All kidding aside, glad you and your Wrangler are OK.

NOW.......

GO BUY A WINCH
