Question JK 2013 Hard Top Weight ?

What does the hardtop on a (2) door weigh ?

I recall reading the rear section is around 80lbs.

Yeah, I think I read around 75 pounds. There is also probably a small difference between the 2 door and 4 door.

It's not so much the weight that's the problem with them, it's that they're awkward to lift off & carry! My husband & our neighbor carried ours around to our basement & what a pain it was I can't wait until I get a hoist for the garage!

im quite sure its 140 lbs... I agree really awkward to carry even with two men.

The freedom panels are 15 lbs each the rear section of a 2 door is 80 lbs.

This is straight from the manufacture.

And surprisingly heavier and bulkier than I was expecting when I took them off for the first time.
