JK and TJ lug pattern question?

I am trying to help a friend who wants to buy a set of tires from a JK and put them on his TJ. The bolt patterns for each are

JK 5 on 5
TJ 4 on 5

Is there anyway this can be done safely by using something to add to the tire or take away. I thought I remember reading about how to do this but can't find it now. Any ideas?

JK is 5 on 5 where Tj is 5 on 4.5.

And yes, Spidertrax makes wheel adapters that will work.
