JK Bumper pictures

I just got my new tires, wheels, and lift kit. So my next project is gonna be new front and rear bumpers. I just want to see some of the different bumpers out there and how they look. Any advice is appreciated!

Rugged Ridge XHD with storage ends. For the front, plus a skid plate underneath.

And rear.

Click it, it's a video.

Little better pic of the rear.

I like the Rugged Ridge XHD because it is so modular. Just by adding a different end cap, pre-runner, hoop, or just stubby, the bumper completely looks different. I like the stubby for better approach but I am considering the pre-runner attachment.

x2. but it's weight can be an issue. Have to do a lift before I move forward.

I put a set of 1" Teraflex coil spacers in the front coils to level my Jeep. Not to mention stiffer coils but the pucks were only $19 each so it was a cheap fix. I think the winch is what does the most weight change

I agree with the comment regarding weight - be careful as stuff adds up fast - both available power and MPG go down with more weight. I'll be shopping for bumpers at some point - looking forward to the comments/photos here.

Nice, I was looking at this bumper myself. Is this the 'rubicon' black or the gloss? I'm guessing the rubicon, since thats clearly not gloss. Did you get it through quadratec?

I have the black diamond 2 inch bb. I'm afraid the weight of a new bumper is gonna cause too much sag. Is there a certain weight range I should stick to so my front end won't sag? Any way to prevent sag?

Rubicon black from 4wd.com. Fit and finish was perfect.

any more pics from head on....i'm deciding on getting this one, but don't know if it will look a little skimpy. I realize that its a weight saver, but I don't want my front to look to "shaved". I'm torn between this one, or just doing the OEM stubby conversion.

Did the OEM fogs fit pretty good in there?
Also where did you get the skid plate to go with it?

Hey Jimbox, I have a stock bumper with no fog lights, did that bumper come with just two holes to insert the stock lights? Or did it include lights? The description on the website is pretty skimpy.

So if you buy the warn hitch mounted winch plate do you think you could mount it on the front? It looks like an actually useful hitch you seem to be using it in your second pic

I bet the D rings that go on the rugged ridge modular bumper would mount on that. It looks like they line up with the same frame mounts

Yea, I use mine on the front hitch, but remember-that hitch is mounted to the bumper--NOT FRAME, so it's not for heavy recovery in the front-not like a frame mounted winch-the rear hitch's a different story, much stronger mount and bolted to the frame crossmember !

I don't use D-rings on the bumpers-

I think the D ring mount from Pure Jeep would look better on that bumper.
