Jk custom front clip on a 2003 x

Looking for some help, I need a few measurements my grill just shipped and wanted to know how wide and tall is the jk grille. I'll be fabbing up aluminum fenders and possibly a hood out of aluminum if its easier then modifying the jk hood. Haven't seen this done yet so figured is give it a shot. Id appreciate the help guys thanks in advance.

Will do, so far I've got the grille and el'cheapo replacement hood ordered since I'm probably not going to need the hood for anything but getting the dimensions and curves right.

47" X 16" If you look at the picture, I took the measurement from just under the headlights to get the 47" Not where the turn signal is.

The tj grille is 6" narrower then the jk. I'm making a Rad support to bolt the grille and fenders to. This makes things a lot easier because I installed the sbc 6" farther forward so I wanted to stretch the front clip anyway. Now I can set the point to build to with the grille.

Making progress, fenders bolted up but not mounted to the grille yet. Still have to mount the grille to the frame. The hood will need to be stretched 6" and narrowed 2" at the tub. Building the bars that are on the stock jk to support the fenders and the Rad support next.

Finished all but the New hood. The first hood was stretched and contoured perfect but the stock latches didn't work well and the hood popped up at 40 mph. I bought locking latches they work great.
