JK Door Question

Hello:

This may be a silly question---but---are the heavy nylon ribbons at door bottom the only inside door hinges? In other words---these jeep doors will not stay open like a normal car door hinge workup would.

Am I correct? So if you park uphill----the door needs to be held when getting out and will not stay open by itself like a car door.

thx

Look up Smart Doors. Basically the same concept as the tailgate except you can detach it easily for door removal. However you do have to cut a sizable whole in the side of the door for installation.
