JK front drive shaft u-joint

Can the u-joint be replaced or do you have to replace the drive shaft. I have an 09 JK. would like to go ahead and replace it with a better servicable type joint. If so any recommendations on what brand to get......

I believe the question was posed a little while ago and someone said that the drive shaft wasn't serviceable and would have to be replaced. Many aftermarket ones are serviceable tho and much stronger. Tom Woods seems to be a popular brand especially of you plan on or have a lift

The stock drivshafts don't have U-Joints, they have CV-Joints.

There is one U-Joint. It's on the front DS, on the front axle. So YES you can replace it.

The axles have U-Joints, the stock driveshaft doesn't.

I may be wrong here but I swear it looks like a ujoint on the front diff. I believe there is a rzeppa or cv joint that attches the front driveshaft to the transfer case. I want to see if the ujoint at the diff can be replaced....

anyone have the dimensions for the stock ujoint on the front ds of the JK? Maybe I can match one up that is greasable and replace the front stock one. I believe it is starting to dry out and I dont want it detonating on me while on the hwy.
