JK headlight replacement

Has anyone replaced their JK OEM headlights with PIAA H13 or Delta Xenon. I want to upgrade my stock headlights, they just don't do the job when compared to my wife's Nissan Rogue HID. When you hit the brights on her Rogue, it lights up the countryside.

Loving The PIAA Headlights

A couple months ago I noticed a buddy's Jeep had awesomely bright headlights. I asked him what he had done. He told me he had installed the PIAA replacement headlights and that he never regretted it for a moment. I went home and immediately ordered a set. It took about 15 minutes to install them and I have never regretted it for a moment. My wife, who tends to be oblivious to these things, commented how much brighter the lights were. She was amazed because the OEM headlights are so weak. She was super pleased with that mod.

Go for it. You won't regret it!

PIAA is over-priced and over-rated nonsense.
Sorry; but I've just been down this road too many times before. Don't waste your time with hype.

Phillips makes the best drop-in replacement H13 bulb with their Xtreme. You can unleash more of its potential by using a supplemental harness and using the stock wiring to trip it via a relay.
But, best yet, an H4 bulb in a Cibie reflector with supplemental wiring will really impress you. Put a set of Osrams in it.

I agree with Hilldweller; the H13 units are more value for the money and they don't cause problems with the local troopers who can ticket you for "bright lights"...at least in NY.

Keep in mind the bulbs, unless they are Halogen based technology, will dim over time. The Halogen technology force the filament vapor back on, thus extending and keeping the candlepower output high.
