Jk owners ?

I moved this from general discussion.
maybe you can answer my ?

I got my mind set on a rubi and I don't really wanna give up on the I6 and go with a jk. I've always hated the fender/ flares on the newer jeeps. I was browsing eBay and I found this jeep. I love the color along with the matching flares. I believe it's a Sahara edition? Anybody no what color this is, doesn't look like your basic maroon? And is it a newer color only on the jks? Anyways, I'm just looking. Most likely going after an 05-06 rubi if I can find one. Sent from my iPhone 4 using WF app

I traded an 06 TJ on a 10 Rubi and never looked back. I like the 3.8 just as much as the 4.0. Comparing the two is like apples and oranges. I liked the TJ and love the JK. Keep an open mind and do a good test drive; you'll see.

Yeah that's just a red rock sahara JK. I know that color was around for 2009 and 2010, and I assume it's still available for 2011. Don't worry about the fenders, there's about a thousand aftermarket options.

It was discontinued for 11 and replaced with Deep Cherry Red.

^^^^ This. Depending on the year will tell you the color, it's hard to say for sure in the pic, but it looks like Deep Cherry Red to me. If it's an '11 that's what it would be. Red rock is browner.

I get denied by tjs, cjs, willys, and jks daily. You arent waving to the driver, you are waving to the jeep.

I just wave at the jeep and care less about the driver, my jeep doesnt get his feelings hurt when someone doesnt wave to him because he knows that he probably gets a lot more offroad time than the non waving mall crawler.
