jk sahara off a ramp...

okay so heres the deal, i tried to avoid an accident and i veered towards a snow bank, instead of soft mushy goodness, it was pure ice, turning the mountain into a ramp... so i basically flew for a bit and landed pretty hard.

Wondering what damage i should look for?

Thanks for your help

Truck starts good, needs an alignement the only thing i noticed is that there is more engine rumble/vibration in general now.

have the alignment shop check out essentials of steering, handling, etc. I did a little launch years ago off a dirt berm that was rather exciting.

:O dang. did you report it to insurance? I mean, its not like you were in an accident but you kinda were... just to be safe take some pictures of where you went over and stuff?

anyways, I would check to make sure you didnt bind the coils (springs) and that shocks didnt take any damage. check stock welds on control arms to make sure none broke loose. check axles to make sure they arent bent. engine mount could have taken damage, and engine itself. uhm, theres pretty much your whole jeep.... haha. thats insane.

Sounds almost like fun except for the possible skid-marks

One thing GoldenSahara00 mentioned sounds like a possible culprit - engine mounts. I had one go on a car I had some years back, and it felt like the whole engine compartment was moving on me...
If you only have a Jeep, every problem appears as a rock. I like rocks.

Depending how hard you hit / landed, I would be concerned about the front diff housing, seen a few bend down here after launching over sand dunes. Also the sudden hit puts a lot of stress on the front track bar mounts, check the welds carefully.

Especially when you say it needs an alignment, as the only thing adjustable is the toe in and the steering wheel postion. If these are wrong than something has to have moved/bent to acheive this.
