Alright, before I get started, I've searched for this, however, it's an odd enough setup I haven't found anything. (Which also may be my first clue...)
I'm definitely going with the AEV 4.5 inch system. AEV Conversions N0244110AA - AEV 4.5" DualSport RS Suspension System with Bilstein 5160 Shocks for 07-12 Jeep® Wrangler Unlimtied JK 4 Door with LHD - Quadratec
I'm looking at possibly upgrading to a LA later in life. Yes, I know it's not absolutely necessary for a 4.5 inch lift.
I am extremely impressed with the lift quality of the AEV system, from an outside observer standpoint only. I do not have one yet.
I am even more impressed with the quality of the control arms from TeraFlex.
This brings me to my question, how well would a LCG TeraFlex Long Arm Upgrade (Elite LCG JK Long Arm Upgrade Kit-Arms and Brackets | TeraFlex Suspensions
) work with the AEV base system? I haven't seen anyone with something of the sort, but if there is someone, please let me know. In my mind, it should retain most of the driveability and on-road manners of the AEV base kit, but provide even more flex when off road. The LA kit would be a future upgrade, as it's meant to be and so my wallet doesn't commit suicide, but does anyone foresee problems with this setup?
If this has been asked, please point me in the right direction, I've searched and not found anything close.
