JKS disconnects vs Rubicon electronic disconnects

Jeep with license plate has JKS jeep without (mine) just Rubi electronic disconnects

Other than the failure possibility of the electronics.....what are the differences and pros vs cons of each? Thanks in advanceClick image for larger version

The only con to rubicon electric disconnect is like you said electronic failure. When mine do fail I will go to manual disco's. You can drill a hole in the rubi disco motor case and add a grease zirk and fill it with grease. This will help keep water and dirt out of it and make it last longer.

Pros of the electric rubi ones is if it is raining you can stay in your jeep to disconnect and the owner of the jks equiped ones is going to get muddy and wet lol. I have the JKS and they are bullet proof but not nearly as convienant as the rubi ones.

They weren't bulletproof today....one of the click pins broke today...not the pin itself but the circular retaining hinge broke....on his JKS disconnects.

somewhere I read that the amount of travel was limited if you didn't have the JKS disconnects..meaning the disconnects gave the front end more travel....than the travel one received from using just the Rubi disconnects...judging by that picture I'd say that is incorrect..

Thoughts?

Don't have a clue if this is ever the case or not. I have my front limit straps set right before the coilovers botton out. The srock swaybar does not limit my travel any when discoed.

Yeh I got the rubi with a 3 inch lift and 35s. The electric disco deffinetly doesn't restrict my flex.
