JKU driver side door leak

So my one month old 2014 JKU has a leak on driver side. Dripping down front edge of door and running onto plastic wire chase on floor than onto and under slush mat. Not terrible but enough to want it fixed. It appears to be coming inside the door weather stripping around that rubber seal where the windshield meets the pillar. The rubber piece is stood off the windshield side a bit compared to the passenger side that does not leak. I have tried to find some solutions on here and online and found many people with the same problem but not any solutions. I will take back to dealer if necessary but hoping for an easy fix to save my time. Any help would be appreciated. I have reviewed the leak manual but do not see this issue outlined. Thank you.

I have the same thing on my 14 JKU.

As you mentioned many seem to have this issue and I don't think there is a quick/easy fix from what I have found.

It also seems as if most trips to the dealer simply result in more and more trips to the dealer.

Be interested to see what ideas you might get and good luck!

Seems to be getting past weatherstripping on door around area of windshield and running down on the jam which curves in towards the bottom and water travels right inside. Seems like water needs to drain from this area and have no idea why Mopar did not design a gutter or drip edge to keep it outside. I'm thinking my problem is that rubber seal on the pillar by windshield and/or the door not making enough contact at that point to make a good seal. I have seen some messy RTV fixes that use plastic wrap during the curing to beef up that area. I'm sure someone on here will chime in with a good fix.

I had a slight leak under my driver's side door. I read posts on the forum that stated if you had a drivers side door leak to install the door sills to eliminate that problem. I installed the Mopar door still protectors and viola, no more leak! I posted about my experience a while back on this forum and I included a picture of how I have mine installed over the front seam. It's definitely worth a try.

....
So, those of you with DRIVER'S side leaks, I recommend that you try this. I read about it on the forum and it has worked to COMPLETELY resolve my leak: Door Entry guards. But, you have to install them as illustrated in the picture below:

The trick is to install the entry guards over the front seam. Try it and let me know. Mine is completely bone dry now, even after heavy rain.

BTW some dealers will try to tell you that the entry guards caused your leak, but mine was leaking before guards were ever put on! Good luck!
Your entry guards look different than my Mopar entry guards. Maybe it's just the your picture not showing the detail, but there should be a hump that goes over the bolt head that is still exposed on yours. Here's mine (pardon the dirt):

Dropped off mine tonight for dealer to fix tomorrow. They told me they have the Leak Doctor that comes in once per week. They should be familiar with this driver side door leak. Fairly certain the leak started at the windshield to door rubber and runs down and in. I am able to reproduce during a car wash so hopefully the dealer will come through. They told me the dodges leak more than the jeeps. Not sure I buy it. I have a 2006 2500 Ram cummins that's been great and no leaks to date.
I will update thread tomorrow on what they did to repair. I also got my Mopar sills this week but am holding off installing until this leak is fixed so they can't blame any mods. My sills do have the screw hump and are for the JKU.

So dealer sublets out to the Leak Doctor. Looks like all the did was loosen top interior door bolts and push door in a hair. No seals were replaced or added as far as I can tell. A little annoyed that this door is no longer perfectly flush around the this top hinge but it's minor and I guess better than a leak.

This issue has been progressively getting worse on my 2012, so I finally took it into the dealer. They quoted me $785 to make the repairs, so obviously I told them to eff off. Would my best bet be to start with the door sill protectors, and work up? The water appears to be entering at the base of the door, 6" or so back from the front end of the door.

My 2015 JKU has the same problem on the passenger side. It has been to dealer twice with no luck. I was in an accident in November and it seemed whatever the auto shop did, solved the problem temporarily. Now it just started up again and my warranty is up. What solution seem to have worked best to stop this BS?

I'm bumping an old thread for a PSA.

I noticed a wet floorboard under my carpet/slush mats about 3 months after my warranty expired. It's probably been leaking the entire time, just never noticed because the mats were always dry.

Anyway, I have a 2014 JKU. My floor board behind my front passenger seat was always wet. It was wet regardless of whether I was running hard too or soft top so I ruled out the top. After countless attempts, I removed the carpet and sat in the jeep during a downpour. The water was leaking through the front passenger door, down into the trim, and along the side under the B pillar and pooling in the floorboard.

I researched various fixes and ultimately did something along the lines of this guy's fix:

This was about a month ago and we've had some torrential downpours since and everything appears dry. I think I'm ready to declare victory. Just thought I'd pass it along as I know this is a common problem and it was driving me insane not being able to fix it.
