JKU Soft top compatibility

I have 3 JKU hardtops. An '08, '10 and a '12. Will a soft top from an '09 fit all three years? A have a "new in the box" '10 soft top, and I'm looking for a top for the '12 (found a new in box '09 for $400 complete). Spring project. Thanks in advance.

Yes

The way I understand it is -- the parts can not be interchanged but any top with fit any year ..

I have to disagree. The 08 soft top has the top where you have to "unsnap" the sides of the top before you put it down. I believe that the 10 and up have to cable system and the door surrounding for them are different. Correct me if I am wrong but because the door surroundings are different it will not work?

If you have a complete, including surounds and hardware, softtop you can put it on 07-12. You have to have the hardware specific to that tops "generation", meaning 07-10 & 11-12.

Awesome price. I paid $500 for a 2door in like new condition. Now they are scattered
all over CL for $300-$500

Now is the time to buy
