Looking forward to it. How are you liking its versatility? Is it the best top out there for riding wide open with quick cover ability ( in your opinion)?

I'm pretty sure you would need to remove everything except the small brackets that bolt to the roll bars.

Yep, it all comes off, as Supercop says.

The good news is that it will go back on much much easier. I can install this top on a TJ in about 4 minutes. Assuming things go right, like the knobs don't argue with me too much.

Thanks for your support! And your patience.

Looks like Bestop did a fantastic job on that one! I hadn't seen one on a 4 door before. I really like it.

Numerous companies make window storage bags that you can roll up the windows in and take with you.

Congrats on the top, it looks great... I have a question about it if you have a second. When you open the 'sunrider' flap, does it open up just over the front seats or over the back ones too?

I also have a JKU and I have back seat passengers a lot, so I'd like a soft top that lets everyone enjoy the sun. I know the old-style Trektop does this, but I haven't seen anything about whether the Trektop NX only folds back as far as the sound bar or all the way to the rear.

Actually this tote I was referring to:

The one I have is huge, not sure where he bought it, but will fit a bigger window for sure.

just the front seats...i guess you would need to completely remove top for rear seats to be exposed..

this is the one that you need to roll the windows right? The rear left and right windows have a built in structure to keep them firm...like plastic inserts since there is no frame like a regular softop...these definately cannot be folded or rolled

Oic

Well the regular windows have one stiff side and they are rolled opposite of it.
I see what you mean though -must make them harder to store.
The one thing I disliked about the TT is it has to come fully off the vehicle-rolled and
stored. I went went the SuperTop when I had my Tj for that only reason- ease of removal and it stays connected to the jeep.

Let me say even though bestop took forever to make this top, their customer service is superb...the tension string/rope that is connected to front header and goeas along sides of top to the back connected to a spring ( this keeps sides tight and tucked into door surrounds) somehow came undone and now is not tight. The top now flaps. Sucks but called bestop today and they are shipping me a new top skin with no questions asked..was pissed at first bc this happened to me but will have a brand new one in few days

Can anyone say from experience if the sunrider flap actually flaps in the wind on a 70mph?? I would assume it won't catch any air and the air would justt go up and over. What about those with bug deflectors? Heard many complaints about the air being deflected back onto the traditional soft top causing noise. Does this do the same with this top while in "sunrider" mode?

I'm really close to getting this..thinking it is the best soft top option considering I live in a somewhat rainy climate.

Not that noisy and doesn't flap too much...I was actually surprised with how quiet it is
