JKUR RK 2.5" Max Travel install and extra parts?

Install complete but I have an extra piece of armor (see Photo).

Since the installation shop noted it was required to be removed (some interference issue) do most folks reinstall some other aftermarket item?

To be honest, I'm not even sure where it came from as I did not take photos 'before'.

The bar is a 'skid bar' that is supposed to protect the tranny. I'm not too familiar with the install of that lift so i'm not sure if its required to be removed, but yes, it can be replaced with a stronger aftermarket version. Jeep looks good

Jeep looks great! Mind if I ask what tires and wheels you have there?

Did not have to remove mine I have a 2 door though. But honestly I cant see why you would have to remove it. Look up the instructions on there website and see if its in there.

I have the RK 2.5" on my two door and had the "skid bar" installed after my lift was installed due to the recall for the skid plate. The dealer never said anything about it interfering with anything.

It isn't required to remove the skid bar for this lift. I'm not sure what prompted the shop to do that.

Front track bar which would have been replaced. I too didn't have to remove my tranny skid bar on my 2 door.

There is nothing in the instructions about removing the trans skid bar. I just got my lift and read the instructions
